Oats Chemical is advancing the possibility of improving load-bearing capacity (for use at higher loads than before) through FEM analysis of the FORK WHEEL. This document summarizes the analysis results. The analysis indicated the potential for use under load conditions higher than the design load previously established. Oats Chemical is working on investigating the deformation state and stress/strain distribution of the urethane part through FEM analysis, with the aim of improving the design technology of the FORK WHEEL.
